The moment
A moment is more than what was said.
Most of your day happens between conversations. UTONE hears that part too.

Where the month went
Less time outside: about 6 hours this month, down from 11 in September.
A new habit: four runs in October, all since Oct 20.
Fridays were the best part. More laughter at Friday dinners than at any other time.
Your deepest focus: Tue, Oct 13, 2 h 40 min without a break.
Two hours of loud music, and you sang along.
Home all day with music on, the longest stretch at home this month.

The night the lights went out
At 8:12 the power went out halfway through dinner. The fridge stopped humming, the playlist cut out, and for a moment all anyone could hear was rain on the windows.
Leo found candles in the drawer labeled “batteries.”
“Of course that’s where they are.”Priya
Dan dug out the guitar nobody had touched since spring. He knew three chords. Priya knew a song that only needed two, one her grandmother used to sing while she cooked.
By the second chorus everyone had the same words wrong, and nobody fixed them.
The lights came back at 9:47. Nobody got up to turn the music back on.

Barely there. Clearly on.

Nothing hidden
One light, one button. No screen. Nothing you can’t see.
Audio isn’t kept
Deleted once it’s processed. Only the text about your day stays.
You decide who sees it
Other AIs and apps get nothing until you connect them yourself.
Goes with anything
Wear it next to a watch, a band or a bracelet. Nothing has to come off.

How it works
From sound to text in four steps.
What happens to the sound of your day, from the band to your AI.
- 01
On the band
Sound is encrypted on the band, kept only until it uploads. It can’t be played back.
- 02
In the cloud
The audio becomes structured text about your day, then it’s deleted. Only the text stays.
- 03
In your app
Your days, weeks and months, the way you lived them. Delete anything, anytime.
- 04
To the AI you choose
Share it with any AI that accepts outside context. Each one sees only what you allow.

Questions people ask.
Does it record the people around me?
Yes, it can pick up the voices of people near you. The audio is deleted after processing, and only text is kept. A light shows whenever UTONE is on, and one press pauses it.
In some places, including about a dozen US states such as California, Florida, Illinois, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania and Washington, everyone in a conversation has to agree before it’s recorded. Deleting the audio afterward doesn’t change that. It’s up to you to get consent where it’s required, and to pause when someone asks.
How is it different from other AI wearables?
Most are built around meetings and what people say. UTONE follows your whole day, work and life, including the sounds around you and the stretches when no one’s talking. You choose which AI tools can use it.
What happens to my data?
Audio is deleted once it’s processed. The text about your day is stored encrypted, and you can export or delete it anytime. UTONE does not sell or share your personal data, and does not use it to train AI models unless you choose to. Details are in our Privacy Policy.
How does it know who’s who?
From context, such as the names people use with each other. It sometimes gets a name wrong, and you can rename or remove anyone anytime.
Does it work with the AI tools I already use?
If they can take in outside context, yes. Most AI assistants can, and so can automations and agents you build. Other apps and devices depend on what they support. You decide what each one sees.
Can I wear it with my smartwatch?
Yes. It’s slim enough for the same wrist and works on its own. It doesn’t measure heart rate, so it won’t compete with your watch.
How long does the battery last, and which phones does it work with?
About 12 to 18 hours on a charge, enough for a full day. It works with iPhone at launch, and we’re working on Android.
How much will it cost? Is there a subscription?
We’ll announce pricing, including whether there’s a subscription, before launch. Waitlist members get early-bird pricing first.
